About Maria

As I enter my 80th year of life, I see this time of my life as an opportunity to share my wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, guiding and coaching those who are seeking healing through their own personal spiritual journey.

Maria is an Elder as well as a Teacher and Guide in her field. She holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University, as well as Coaching training from Kennesaw State University. Her training in psychology spans from Psychomotor, Gestalt, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Psychodrama, as well as being trained to lead process groups. For over 30 years, she has worked with individuals (especially women in recovery), couples, and groups guiding their healing process. Her personal Knowledge of Recovery adds a Spiritual dimension to her work.  Because of all she has gained through her own life experiences and the Wisdom she has acquired; Maria feels that now is the time to impart her deeper understanding of the connection between the heart and the soul.

In her own journey, she has explored and studied different spiritual traditions from Peruvian Shamanism (Quero Tradition) with Oscar Miro-Quesada, Jewish Kabbalah with Zev ben Shimon Halevi (Summer School of Kabbalah), Ifa (African Spirituality) with Oba Adebolu Fatunimse as well as the Western Mysteries with Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki (Channel Islands, England).

In her spiritual quest, Maria has traveled to various sacred sites in such countries as Egypt, Israel, Mexico, England, France, Italy, Spain, the Caribbean Islands, and the United States.  Such a breadth of diverse studies and travel has given Maria a deep understanding of life and human nature. Her communication skills, patience, devotion, and dedication to teach and guide others along their path make her an excellent teacher and guide.

Between the Question and the Answer is the Silence.  In this Silence, our most profound and Divine part resides waiting to be discovered once again. Seeking a Spiritual Path awakens that part of us from its deep slumber so to illuminate and guide us on the rest of our journey.
