Reflection for June

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. —Eleanor Roosevelt
So many times, we dismiss our dreams only to later realize that our dreams have been manifested by someone else. Our doubts and our own disbelief of our abilities to manifest and create that which we dream is our biggest hurdle. To give birth to a dream is to be able to hold the vision long enough to bring it forth into this reality. We must remember that a dream is a part of our Sacred Self, that part of our Self that holds the potential and possibilities, the seeds for the future. A dream is real and is life waiting to be manifested. To be able to manifest the dream we must hold that vision at the forefront of our mind. We must nurture the dream and infuse it with emotional energy, for that is the food that helps it grow and develop into a reality. This energy is what gives it strength to become part of this world.
We must remember that everything that exists in this dimension, in this reality, was a dream in someone’s mind. The chair we are sitting on, the house or apartment building we are living in, the car we are driving, the plane, train, or bus we ride on, the cities we visit, the vacation places we go to, and the list goes on and on. These are all dreams that make up our journey, these are all things we desired and dreamed; and out of that emotion of desire we brought them forth into our lives. To bring forth a dream we must believe in our own creative potential, our own creative power, our own creative abilities.
How many dreams have we had throughout our lifetime that we were unable to manifest while someone else was able to manifest that same dream? Take pencil and paper and write down all the situations you remember. Now look at your list and take a moment to think what occurred that they did not come into manifestation. Look at your list of dreams again and think which one of these dreams do I have the desire to have in my life? What is stopping me from manifesting that dream? Acknowledge the answer to the questions and then focus on energizing your dream into manifestation for,” The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
